“Maybe there’s a time when your professional
medical practice business focus should be
purposely altered every ten years?"
The medical practice world is rapidly changing before our eyes and will never return to what it was like, several decades ago. With the rapidity of physician's changes within private medical practice businesses as the result of deliberate government mandated restrictions on private medical practice businesses to remain solvent, suggests that physicians should be planning on major changes in their medical practice focus much more often than believed.
In the past physicians established their practices in geographic areas where they preferred to live and expected to remain there throughout their medical careers.
Population changes, economic changes, and changes in physicians lifestyles and attitudes about their medical practice objectives, all are reasons for new and younger physicians to make future medical career plans upon starting a private medical practice with the probability that they will be required to either move their medical practice somewhere else, or will require major changes in their specialty medical practice business focus in order to survive in medical practice.
Not only have the new generation of medical students and young physicians radically departed from the traditional views about medical practice, but their personal life priorities now supersede their professional choices often.
These factors have created significant and irresolvable career issues for nearly all medical doctors, such as...
1. Is it too late for older physicians to make any changes in their medical practices, or too
late to adapt to the changing healthcare mandates after practicing all those years that
they chose to do?
2. Are the younger doctors and medical students surging on a path that will lead them to
unhappy careers as physician employees with no good alternatives available for
changes they might want to make?
3. Is it possible for any physician of any age able to attain a satisfying, happy and fulfilling
life, living, and practicing under the new healthcare system—whatever it turns out to be?
Evidently, the attrition of medical doctors and the widespread frustration with medical practice today requires a great deal of decision-making no one cares to be cornered with.
If the present trend of increasing disappointment with the private practice of medicine continues to persist, as it likely will, the storm of the century coming will leave few alternatives to the rigidly controlled medicine by outside entities (under full governmental control). Freedom for doctors to practice medicine as they prefer will be impossible.
Is it any wonder that American males are no longer applying to medical school?
The greatest excitement in the past has been the greatest motivation to enter private medical practice and treat patients the way you always thought you would love to do. In the process you expected to be a high-income earner able to live a high-quality lifestyle with your family--which is not how medical practice business and management has turned out.
Well, that advantage is rapidly disappearing. Medical fees are increasingly being restricted. Medical malpractice threats continue to run rampant in our society with no end in sight.
The joy and satisfaction are disappearing from medical practice and is seriously affecting the personal lives of private practice physicians as well as other healthcare providers.
Do you enjoy working hard in your private medical office practice and not making enough income to keep your practice open, let alone enough to meet your family financial obligations? It’s a common happening in private medical practice today. How long do you think it will take for all American physicians to disappear from our healthcare system? Well, a few physicians from wealthy families may continue to carry the flag for the rest of us.
Are you upset because you don’t make the level of income necessary to send your children to the college of your choice or to fund your retirement plan? You should be!
If the satisfactory income level isn’t there, you will never enjoy medical practice either. Have you made plans to counter this devastating circumstance? You should.
If you would love to know more about how to resolve these issues, like arranging for a Plan-B in your medical career, check out the extensive options open to you that are contained in this website. You will be surprised about how many there are that may be the perfect result you have been looking for.
There are ways described to make the stock market work to your profitable advantage that no one has ever told you about. The reason that there are horror stories about the stock market and about losing your money in the stock market are part of the efforts of the wealthy to keep you out of the stock trading market. When you believe those stories… they win.
The purpose for my website will continue to be financial and business methods that any physician can easily apply to their own medical practices to double or even triple your present income. The most destructive issues for physicians and most others continue to be ignorance about these prime opportunities.
Many of these opportunities do not require a business and marketing education, a stockbroker, a financial expert, or a real estate magnate to become financially independent. This is true even if you are age 85 or older, can’t hear well, can’t see well, and your age 86 spouse of 60 years still bosses you around.
I have gained a lot more knowledge during my life, separate from my 38 plus years in medical practice, that I love to share with others. And that is why I have this website for physicians who need help, ideas, and financial knowledge that can make their lives much better than presently. I’m certainly not a genius. I’m dumber than my brother (not a physician).
And no one in the last century has been helping physicians, at least financially—assuming all physicians are wealthy, stinking rich, and too arrogant to let anyone help them.
The interesting factor about these misconceptions to me is that, as physicians, we have never made one red cent in our lives and medical careers because of any medical organization or medical society help or education, any university education meant to prepare us for a job, and medical school in our nation that taught us about business and marketing, nor our government that has been abusing physicians incessantly for a century.
Our incomes happen only when we apply what little we may have learned, or discovered accidentally, by working, seeing patients, and continuing to learn until we leave this world. Being aware that out in this world are billionaires who barely made it out of high school, wealthy uneducated people who inherited fortunes, and a few who won the lottery yet lost all their money in a year.
Of all the issues that physicians confront daily, the most destructive and egregious factor to me has been the fact that our medical schools, for their lack of providing a business education, have set-up all physicians that ever graduated from medical school in our nation for financial failure in their careers, perhaps intentionally.
1. Consequently, we all fail to some degree in our medical careers.
2. The consequence of that failure left each of us handicapped financially to our own
personal degree.
3. The consequence of that financial handicap prevented each of us from ever reaching
our ultimate potential as a physician.
4. The consequence of that handicap of our potential, for each of us, prevented each of us
from becoming the best physician we could have been for all those medical practice years.
Convince me that I’m wrong!
